Okay first things first , even though thrifting has had a resurgence lately due to indie /hipster/90s enthusiasts , I don’t think that has translated to commercial fashionistas. There is plenty of vintage shops but majority of them don’t cater to non- alternative tastes . I’ve been planning to check out charity shops around certain areas in london (i.e not shoreditch) for some vintage designer gems from the 90s- early 2000s for some time!
With some perusing online, I found some in London where you can find pieces that won’t be in rotation ,but if you follow brands and like to look at past collections , you can get a hold of some to add to your own wardrobes! Like:
Marys Living and Giving Shops & general charity shops in more central locations in London i.e Westbourne grove , Victoria etc
Next post, I’ll post plenty of piccies of my finds. My aim for my next thrifting outing is to find some fab dresses that I can dress up for nights out.
